My artistic journey started when my parents inspired me in their own artistic skills of horticulture and floristry. From there I had my own business for over 30 years.

From there I developed interests in ceramics, sculpture, textiles and weaving.

Mosaic Journey business began with the gifted truckload of tiles from a friend, which in turn inspired me to repurpose satellite dishes that were left out for scrap. I loved the thought of recycling these beautiful elliptical shapes as they were perfect for mosaics and so a journey of a thousand pieces began with the first of these tiles.

In time these dishes would adorn many homes and landscaped gardens through sales and commissions and a natural progression to teaching this art form followed, with the desire to share all there is to know about the technique of mosaic art while allowing an expression of the inner voice. There is something soothing about the process and it’s a comforting way to be with other people - sharing space and working side-by-side.
